Description
The Archivist is a slim leather laptop briefcase that keeps a laptop, documents and a tablet in three separate zip compartments, so every layer of your workday stays organized. The full grain cowhide has a soft embossed texture that looks refined and hides small marks, which suits a morning commute and a client meeting equally well.
Measurements are taken by hand and can vary by a few tenths of an inch.
The briefcase takes a laptop up to 16 inches (about 14 x 9.8 in). Each zip compartment holds one layer: a laptop in one, A4 documents (11.7 x 8.3 in) and folders in the next, and a tablet up to 11 inches, a notebook and small accessories in the third. The slim depth limits how much each layer can hold, so this leather laptop briefcase suits a day of work rather than a full load of books. The laptop, books, files and other items shown in the photos are not included.
At only 2.3 inches deep, it stays close to the body and slips through a crowded train or into a meeting room without bulk. The dark coffee brown leather, stitched edges and clean shape pair with a blazer, a wool coat or a shirt and chinos.
Carry it by the two stitched top handles like a classic briefcase, or clip on the strap when you want your hands free. The strap adjusts from about 16.5 to 27.5 inches, so you can wear it on the shoulder or across the body.
The outer is full grain cowhide with an embossed milled texture and a polyester lining. The surface is soft and can show a lighter or darker mark when you press it, which is a normal trait of this type of leather. It softens with use and develops its own patina. This leather laptop briefcase is not sold as waterproof, so wipe off rain quickly and let it air dry.
