Description
This leather apron is for woodworkers, cooks, gardeners and makers of any build. It is a full bib apron in deep reddish-brown cowhide that shrugs off sawdust, glue and splatter, and wipes clean after grease or sauce. The cut is unisex.
It is one size. A leather neck strap with a brass buckle sets the bib height, and long leather waist ties wrap around and knot in front, so the fit adjusts for most builds. Cowhide is stiff when new and softens as you wear it.
A chest pocket holds a pencil, a thermometer or a phone. A split lower pocket, reinforced with brass rivets and contrast stitching, holds tongs, a tape measure, gloves or chisels without sagging.
The apron is genuine cowhide, so each piece shows its own grain, marks and color variation. Wipe it with a damp cloth, let it dry away from heat, and condition it a few times a year. Do not machine wash. It is a work apron for everyday tasks, not certified safety or heat-protective equipment.
