Description
This leather luggage tag keeps your details out of sight. Lift the leather flap to read the name and phone number in the clear window, drop it again and nobody walking past the carousel can see them. A leather strap with a metal buckle loops around a handle and closes securely, so the tag stays on your bag from check-in to pickup.
The tag measures about 4.3 x 2.6 x 0.2 inches (11 x 6.5 x 0.5 cm), a compact size that sits flat against a carry-on or a duffle without catching on anything. The strap is sized for standard suitcase, backpack and duffle handles. The suitcase, passport holder, pen, map and notebook in the photos are props and are not included.
Slide a small card with your name and phone number into the clear window, then fold the leather cover over it. The photo with the open flap shows the card area with lines for name, phone, address and email. Only you and anyone who lifts the flap can read what is written.
The tag is made of genuine cow leather with stitched edges and a matte, slightly distressed finish. Small marks and creases are part of how this kind of leather looks, and the surface darkens a little with handling. Shades can vary slightly from your screen, especially the teal, green and purple.
Use it on a carry-on, a checked bag, a gym duffle or a work backpack. A bright color is easy to spot on a baggage belt, while a dark one blends in with a business bag. It also makes a simple gift for someone who travels often.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. For a stain, use a barely damp cloth and let it air dry. Keep it away from long soaking, and if it gets wet, blot it and dry it at room temperature. Rub in a little leather conditioner every few months to keep the strap supple, and store it flat away from radiators and direct sun.
