Description
This black leather ratchet belt combines a soft, durable cowhide split leather strap with a holeless automatic buckle for a precise, comfortable fit. The all black finish keeps the look sober and modern, from the strap to the brushed buckle.
Slide the strap through the buckle, set the fit to the exact notch and it holds. There are no holes to line up, so you can fine tune the fit in small steps, for example after a meal or a long drive.
The listed length is the full belt length, not the waist size. Measure a belt you already wear from the end of the strap to the notch you use most and compare it with the five length options. If you are between two lengths, choose the longer one. Because the strap can be trimmed, a longer belt can be shortened later but a shorter one cannot be extended.
The strap is cowhide split leather with a fine, slightly grained, semi matte texture, finished with fine stitching and polished edges. The buckle is brushed black metal with a micro textured surface that matches the strap, so nothing flashes against a dark outfit. Wipe the strap with a dry cloth and avoid soaking it.
If the belt is too long, trim the strap at the back end, following the guide that comes with it. Measure twice before cutting, because trimming cannot be undone.
The sober finish works with suits, dress pants and good jeans. Match it with black shoes for a clean line. At 1.4 inches wide it also suits relaxed office outfits and chinos.
A belt that adjusts without holes is a useful gift for birthdays, graduations and Father's Day, because the fit does not depend on a fixed notch.
