Description
This leather valet tray is for anyone whose keys, watch, wallet and loose change end up scattered across the dresser or the entryway table. Empty your pockets into it at night, and everything is waiting in one spot in the morning.
The Small tray measures about 6.9 x 4.5 x 1.3 inches (17.5 x 11.5 x 3.3 cm), a little larger than a smartphone, and holds keys, a watch, earbuds and coins. The Large tray measures about 8.5 x 6.3 x 1.6 inches (21.5 x 16 x 4 cm), close to a paperback book, and adds room for a wallet, sunglasses and a car key fob. Each order is one tray, so take both sizes if you want one for the desk and one for the nightstand.
Each corner closes with a metal snap button, and with the corners snapped the walls stand up on their own. Unsnap the four corners and the Large tray lies flat at about 11.1 x 8.7 inches (28.2 x 22 cm), so it slides into a suitcase and becomes a catchall on a hotel nightstand.
It is genuine cowhide, soft enough to fold and firm enough to hold its walls once snapped. The inside is leather too, so a watch rests on a soft surface instead of wood or glass. The coffee brown surface shows natural marks and lighter rub areas that make each tray a little different. It weighs about 2.9 oz (82 g) in Small and 4.2 oz (120 g) in Large.
On a desk it holds pens, USB keys and receipts; by the door it catches keys and coins. It is a simple gift for a new homeowner, a groomsman or a colleague who travels for work. The tray is sold empty: the keys, watch, earbuds and other items shown in the photos are props and are not included.
