Description
The Lockhart is cut from Crazy Horse cowhide, a pull-up leather with an oiled, waxy finish that shifts tone where it flexes. Its box shape stands upright on a hotel counter or a narrow bathroom shelf, and the long top zipper opens wide so the whole kit is in view.
At 11.0 x 5.9 x 5.7 in, the main compartment holds a razor and shaving cream, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant and a cologne bottle. Inside, one zip pocket and two elastic slip pockets keep small bottles upright and blades or clippers apart. A leather loop handle on the side lets you grab it fast or hang it.
Crazy Horse leather is meant to look lived in. Light scratches lighten the surface, then fade back when you rub them with your fingers as the oils move through the hide. Over months the color deepens and the leather softens. The bag weighs about 0.82 lb (373 g), with contrast stitching and a metal zipper. Keep liquids in closed containers and condition the outside every few months.
