Description
The Stirrup is the wide casual belt: 1.5 in, the standard width for jean belt loops. The rectangular copper pin buckle has weight to it and an aged finish that suits denim, chinos and work pants. It is a casual belt, not a slim dress belt. The 1.5 in width fits standard jean belt loops.
Lengths run 41, 43, 45, 47, 49 and 51 in, measured from the buckle to the tip. The easiest way to choose is to measure a belt you already own from the buckle fold to the hole you use, and pick the closest length that leaves room for the tip. The length is measured from the buckle to the tip. You can add a hole with any leather punch or through a cobbler, and the buckle is held by a snap, so you can replace it later. Yes, it is cowhide leather with a distressed, two-tone finish. It softens and shapes to you within a few weeks, and the color deepens with wear. The buckle is held by a snap, so you can swap it later.
