Description
The Stringer is a canvas camera backpack built around a padded camera compartment, a flap top held by two buckled leather straps and a roomy front pocket. It carries a camera body, a few lenses and your everyday items in one pack, and it looks like a regular canvas backpack rather than a gear bag.
The camera compartment has orange dividers that you can move around to fit a body and lenses. It opens from the front and from the side, so you can reach your camera without taking the backpack off completely. The zip closes the main compartment, and the lining is polyester. The camera and lenses shown in the photos are not included.
A leather base protects the bottom of the pack, and straps underneath can hold a tripod. This keeps a compact tripod off your hands on a shoot or a walk. The tripod shown in the photos is not included.
Two padded shoulder straps, a top carry handle and a rear panel keep the weight on your back. Mesh pockets on both sides hold a water bottle or a small umbrella, and the front flap pocket has a leather patch for quick items such as a phone, cables or a notebook.
The body is a waxed look canvas with a leather base, leather straps and a leather patch. The canvas creases, shows natural marks and changes tone with use, which is part of the look. Our supplier describes the fabric as water resistant to an extent, but this is not a waterproof bag and it does not come with a rain cover. Keep your gear protected in heavy rain. Shades can vary slightly from your screen.
The dimensions photo shows the pack at its real proportions. Measurements can vary by up to 0.8 in (2 cm) from bag to bag.
