Description
This wool herringbone flat cap is a classic cool-weather cap with a woven zigzag pattern that looks subtle from a distance and textured up close. The low profile crown sits close to the head and the short brim keeps the shape neat, so it works with a wool coat, a denim jacket or a chunky knit. It is an easy piece to reach for from fall through winter.
The cap fits head circumferences from 21.5 to 24 inches (55 to 61 cm), and the size photo in the gallery shows the same range. To choose with confidence, measure around your head just above the eyebrows and ears, then set the strap to that comfortable fit.
The outer fabric is a woven wool herringbone, a pattern long linked to British tweed headwear. A light inner lining sits against the head, and the close-up photos show the weave, the seams and the contrast edge on the brim.
