Description
This leather cinch belt is a narrow, no-nonsense belt for jeans, chinos and work pants. It is cut from thick cowhide and finished with an aged brass hook buckle, brass rivets and a leather keeper loop that tucks the free end away. The look is rustic and heritage-inspired, and it suits everyday wear from the weekend to the workshop.
There is no prong and no punched holes to line up. The belt closes with a solid brass hook and ring, so you can fine-tune the fit by feel. The brass has a warm, antique finish that darkens gently with handling. The rivets that hold the buckle are brass as well.
The belt is made of genuine cow leather. Thick leather starts firm and gradually softens as it molds to your waist, picking up creases, scuffs and a rich patina over time. Shades vary slightly from one belt to the next and from your screen, which is part of the character of real leather.
To choose your size, measure a belt that already fits you well, from the buckle end to the spot where you fasten it, and pick the closest overall length. If you are between sizes, go up one size. A snug fit is best, since leather stretches slightly over the first weeks of wear.
At 1.3 inches wide, this belt sits slimmer than a standard dress belt, which makes it a clean match for raw denim, canvas trousers and casual shirts. It comes in Brown, Black and Red Brown. Pair the brown with boots and jeans, or choose black for a darker, more understated look that works with dark denim and work boots. Red Brown adds a deeper, wine-toned shade that stands out against light denim. All three share the same width, buckle and rivets.
