Description
This slim leather briefcase carries a laptop, papers and a phone in a thin, structured shape that slips under a desk or into a car seat footwell. Two soft top handles make it easy to carry from the car to the office, and a full zip keeps everything closed. It is a laptop briefcase for men who want a clean silhouette instead of a bulky bag.
Choose the size that matches your laptop. The 14.2 in version holds laptops up to 14.2 inches, and the 16 in version holds laptops up to 16 inches. Inside you get a laptop interlayer, a phone pocket, a slot pocket and a zip pocket, all in a cotton canvas lining that keeps documents flat. A zip pocket on the side holds small items like a charger, a pen or a transit card.
Both sizes are only 3.1 inches thick, so the briefcase holds a laptop, a tablet, a notebook and a thin folder without turning into a heavy bag. A4 sheets (11.7 x 8.3 in) lie flat in either size. The laptop, tablet, wallet and papers shown in the photos are not included.
The outer is genuine cowhide with an oily pull-up finish. The leather lightens where it bends or is rubbed and then darkens again, so scratches and creases blend into a lived in look. A faint new leather smell is normal at first. The edges are stitched in contrast thread, and the metal rings on the handles add a polished touch that works with a suit or with a shirt and chinos.
Hold it by the two top handles on the walk from the train to the office, or tuck it under your arm when the elevator is full. The thin profile suits short commutes, client meetings and business trips where a large bag would only get in the way. It comes in a deep coffee brown that pairs well with navy, grey and charcoal.
