A leather laptop sleeve that closes with a magnetic flap

This leather laptop sleeve is cut from 100% genuine crazy horse cowhide. Slide your laptop in, fold the flap over, and two magnetic buttons hold it shut. There is no zipper to snag and no strap to fumble with, so the laptop goes in and comes out in one motion.

The leather is about 0.2 inch (5 mm) thick, which gives the sleeve real body while keeping it slim enough to slip into a backpack, briefcase, or tote. Carried by hand, it looks like a leather folio rather than a computer case.

Leather that shows its character

Crazy horse leather is known for its natural look. Expect small scars, color variation, and lighter scuffs that darken and blend with use. Each sleeve is a little different, and the Coffee brown deepens over time. As with most natural leather, there can be a distinct leather scent at first, which usually fades with airing.

A small embossed maker's mark sits on the front of the flap.

Unlined, slim, and straightforward

The inside is left as raw, suede-like leather with no lining and no foam. That keeps the sleeve thin and light, and it protects your laptop from scratches, dust, and everyday contact. It is not a shock-absorbing case and it is not water resistant, so keep it away from rain and spills.

Care & use

Everyday care for crazy horse leather

Wipe the sleeve with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Marks and light scuffs are part of the look and tend to blend in with use. For a deeper clean, use a slightly damp cloth and let the leather air dry naturally.

Keep it dry

This sleeve is not water resistant. If it gets wet, take the laptop out, blot the leather, and let it dry away from heat. Avoid hair dryers and radiators, which can dry and crack the leather.

Conditioning

A small amount of leather conditioner once or twice a year keeps the surface supple. Test it on a hidden corner first, since it can darken the color.

Using the magnetic closure

Fold the flap down fully so both buttons meet. Keep the sleeve away from credit cards with magnetic stripes and similar items stored right against the buttons.
