Description
This leather smart key holder replaces a loose key ring with one slim case. Your keys mount on brass screw posts at each end and fold into the leather like the blades of a pocket knife. Fold out the key you need, use it, then fold it back. A snap button flap keeps the case closed, so the keys stay put and silent instead of scratching your phone or poking through a pocket. It works for men and women.
It holds up to 10 standard flat keys, depending on their thickness. To load a key, unscrew a post, slide the key on and tighten the post again. A car key fob or a bulky electronic key does not fold into the case: it hangs from the ring on the outside. Keys are not included.
Closed, the case is about 3.7 inches long and 1.4 inches wide, slightly longer than a credit card. A brass ring at one end lets you hang it from a belt loop, a bag strap or a carabiner you already own, or you can drop it in a front pocket.
The case is made of crazy horse leather, a waxed and oiled leather that develops a pull-up patina: the color lightens where you press it and deepens with handling. Marks and tone differences are part of the hide. Choose brown, dark brown, black, forest green, blue or burgundy. Wipe it with a dry cloth, condition it a few times a year and keep it away from heat and direct sun.
