Description
The Market is a men's leather tote bag for the man who has outgrown a backpack at the office but finds a briefcase too formal. It carries what a workday really needs, a tablet, a notebook, letter-size papers, a charger and a sweater, and keeps it all behind a full zipper.
The bag measures about 13 x 13 x 5.5 inches (33 x 33 x 14 cm), with an 11 inch handle drop so it sits under the arm over a coat. It is sized for a tablet and documents rather than a laptop. A slim 13 inch laptop slides in snugly, while a 14 to 16 inch laptop calls for a laptop briefcase or a work tote.
The shell is genuine crazy horse cowhide, finished with oils and wax. When you press or scratch it, the color lightens, then blends back as you rub it with a fingertip, which is why the bag ages with character. Expect a natural leather smell for the first days and small tone differences from one bag to another. Those are signs of real hide, not defects.
Wear it on the shoulder with the two long leather handles, or clip the detachable strap to the antique brass D-rings and wear it crossbody when you need both hands. Inside, a zippered pocket secures keys and cards and a slip pocket keeps your phone within reach. The polyester lining wipes clean. The tote comes in one color, Dark Coffee, with the strap included.
