Description
This leather drawstring pouch is for anyone tired of coins wearing holes in pockets or rattling at the bottom of a bag. It is unisex and keeps change, keys and earbuds in one soft pouch.
Laid flat, it measures about 4.7 x 3.9 x 0.8 inches (12 x 10 x 2 cm), roughly the size of an adult palm, as the in-hand photos show. It holds coins, a small set of keys, a wireless earbuds case or a few cards.
A leather cord runs through the top. Pull it and the pouch gathers shut, loosen it and the opening widens so you can see inside. There is no zipper to catch or break. The cord is not a sealed closure, so keep powders and liquids out of it.
The pouch is made of cowhide leather and left unlined, which keeps it soft and light. Choose brown, vintage brown with a worn-in look, smooth black or pebbled black. Grain and thickness vary a little with the part of the hide, so no two pouches are identical.
Empty it now and then and wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth. If it gets wet, reshape it and let it air dry away from heat.
