Description
The Fletcher is a canvas commuter daypack for men and women who want a vintage look without a bulky bag: a flap top with two buckled straps over a zippered main compartment. It works unisex for class, the office and weekend errands.
It measures about 11.4 inches wide, 16.9 inches tall and 5.3 inches deep, holds 17 liters and weighs about 1.54 lb. That is a slim daypack: it carries a tablet or slim laptop, a notebook, a sweater, a charger and lunch, not the gear for an overnight trip.
A padded laptop sleeve sits inside the main compartment. Because the bag is about 11.4 inches wide on the outside, slim laptops and tablets fit best, so measure your laptop's width before ordering. If you carry a large 15 or 16 inch machine every day, a dedicated laptop backpack is the better tool.
Inside you get a zippered pocket, a phone pocket and accessory compartments, so keys, cables and a pen stay out of the bottom of the bag. On the outside, a side pocket holds a water bottle or a small umbrella. The flap closes with two metal clip buckles over a zipper, so the main compartment is closed twice.
The shell is durable canvas with a polyester lining and brown trim on the corners, straps and pockets. The shoulder straps are padded and adjustable. The canvas is not waterproof: it handles everyday weather, not heavy rain. Wipe it with a slightly damp cloth, spot clean marks and let it air dry, and wipe the trim with a dry cloth.
Choose from Gray, Dark Gray, Navy, Blue, Teal, Sage, Purple or Burgundy. Each color keeps the same brown trim and the same layout.
