Description
This waxed canvas messenger bag with a roll over flap is made for daily commutes, campus days and weekend walks. Rugged waxed cotton canvas, dark leather straps and brass hooks give it a worn-in heritage look, while the roll over top lets you adjust how much you carry.
The waxed finish sheds light rain and darkens, creases and softens over time, so every bag develops its own character. Light marks and uneven patches are part of that look. Leather trim, a reinforced top handle and solid brass hardware add strength where the bag takes the most wear.
Fold the top over and fasten the central leather strap with its brass hook. Pack it fuller and the flap rolls down further, pack it light and the bag stays compact. It is a simple, quick closure with no zipper to catch on your sleeve.
The slim 3.9 in profile sits flat against your hip and slides easily into a crowded train or a car seat.
The main compartment holds a laptop up to 13 in in a padded sleeve, A4 documents, a notebook, a charger and a water bottle. Inside you will find open slip pockets for your phone and pens plus a zip pocket for keys, cards and cash. A zip pocket on the back keeps a passport or transit pass close and out of sight.
Use the leather top handle to carry it like a briefcase, or clip on the adjustable, removable leather shoulder strap and wear it across the body or over one shoulder. The brass hooks make it easy to switch between styles during the day.
The relaxed shape pairs with denim, chinos, a field jacket or a plain flannel shirt. It works for the office, a coffee run or a short trip, and the waxed canvas looks better the more you use it. Screen settings can change how colors appear, so the real shade may vary slightly.
