Description
These leather suspenders are a unisex alternative to a belt for jeans, chinos, tweed trousers and wedding suits. The Y-back cut joins the two straps into one that sits flat between the shoulder blades, so the line stays clean under a jacket. They hold trousers up without cinching the waist.
The straps are about 0.6 inch (1.5 cm) wide and about 41 inches (105 cm) long when fully extended, with a metal slide to adjust the length. That suits most adults up to about 5'10". If you are taller, contact us before ordering. Four antique brass clips grip the waistband, so you do not need suspender buttons on your trousers.
The straps are genuine leather with antique brass hardware. Black and dark brown read as the most formal choices with a suit. Brown and tan sit better with chinos, denim and tweed. Leather darkens and softens with wear, and small marks are part of the look.
You receive one pair of suspenders. The shirt, trousers and jacket shown in the photos are not included.
