Description
This waxed canvas weekender bag holds two or three days of clothes, a pair of shoes and your toiletries in one roomy body. Cowhide handles and corners protect the wear points, and the shoulder strap keeps your hands free in the terminal. It comes in khaki, black, gray or military green.
The body is waxed canvas that sheds light rain and picks up a worn-in look with every trip. Cowhide leather wraps the two top handles, the straps and the bottom corners, the spots that scuff first. The dark lining inside is easy to wipe clean, and a zip pocket keeps your keys and passport from sliding around.
The main compartment opens wide with a zipper and takes a few shirts, a pair of jeans, a sweater, toiletries and a pair of shoes for a long weekend. A zip pocket sits inside and a second zip pocket on the back panel holds a phone, a boarding pass or a charger. The bag fits in a car trunk, an overhead bin or under a train seat when it is not packed to the top.
Carry it by the two cowhide top handles, or clip on the detachable shoulder strap and wear it across your body. The leather feet and corners lift the base off wet ground, so it stays cleaner on platforms and parking lots.
Use this weekender as a travel bag for road trips, a gym bag, an overnight bag for a hotel stay or a carry bag for a day on the water. Brush off dust, wipe it with a damp cloth and rewax the canvas when the finish thins out. Leather and canvas will darken and soften with use, and the creases make each bag your own.
