Description
The Gable is a canvas sling bag with an asymmetric chest pack shape. A single strap crosses your body, so the bag rides on your back or swings to the front when you need something. It is a roomy, structured pack that holds a tablet, a water bottle, a jacket layer and your daily essentials without feeling bulky on your shoulder.
The body is sturdy canvas that creases, softens and picks up natural tone differences the longer you wear it. Leather accents sit at the top of the strap, and a metal ring and buckle give the bag a clean, utility look. It comes in Khaki, Army Green, Black or Gray, and all four colors share the same shape and hardware. Shades can vary slightly from your screen. The canvas is not waterproof, so keep electronics out of heavy rain and use a rain cover when the forecast turns.
A zip opens the main compartment, which is lined in polyester and has an interior slot pocket and a phone pocket. A zip pocket on the back keeps your wallet, keys or transit card within easy reach, and it sits against your body while you walk. The phone, wallet and keys shown in the photos are not included.
The strap is adjustable with a buckle, so you can set the bag high on your back for walking or lower on your chest for quick access. Wear it on either shoulder. A sling frees both hands and keeps your essentials close, which suits commuting, travel days, short hikes and weekend errands.
Because this is a structured pack with 5.1 inches of depth, it holds more than a slim sling, and the shape keeps its form when it is half full. Canvas is lighter than leather and easy to care for, so a damp cloth is enough for light marks.
