This wool blend newsboy cap for men is cut in the classic eight panel shape that British tailors and street traders made famous. The brown herringbone fabric is soft on the head and firm enough to hold its shape through a full day of wear. Pull it on with a wool overcoat or a waxed jacket and the whole outfit looks finished. The crown sits full and rounded, with eight panels meeting at a small covered button, so the cap has a clear silhouette from every angle.
A wool blend holds in heat without feeling heavy, which makes this flat cap a good pick for cool mornings, weekend walks and the train platform. The short stiff brim keeps wind and light rain off your face, and the rounded crown sits close to the head instead of slouching.
