Description
The leather drop leg bag straps to the thigh, so the load sits low and does not swing or dig into the stomach. Motorcycle riders use it for that reason, and it works just as well at festivals, on trails and on travel days. Leave the leg strap loose and wear it at the hip like a regular belt bag when you are off the bike. The oiled leather resists light rain only and is not waterproof.
The bag measures 8.6 x 8.2 x 2.7 inches (22 x 21 x 7 cm), about the size of a paperback book, and weighs 1.2 lb. The main zip pocket fits an 8.3 inch iPad mini and any current phone. Inside, a compartment with a magnetic closure holds 4 card slots, so phone, wallet and keys each have a place.
The waist belt adjusts from 26.4 to 35.4 inches (67 to 90 cm). For a larger waist, add a belt extension, which is not included, or thread your own belt through the back loop. The leg strap adjusts too.
The body is crazy horse cowhide with a polyester lining, an oiled pull-up leather that darkens and softens with wear. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and rub in a little leather balm every 3 to 6 months. The phone, tablet and cards shown in the photos are not included.
