Description
The Tintype is a compact waxed canvas camera bag for a mirrorless or DSLR body and a lens or two. It has a flap front, a brass buckle on a tan leather strap, magnetic snaps and a shoulder strap with brass swivel clips. It is small enough to wear all day on the street, and it keeps your gear padded and easy to reach.
Inside, a padded insert with a drawstring top cinches closed to protect your camera, as shown in the interior photo. The insert is shock-absorbing and scratch-resistant, and it lifts out so you can use the bag for everyday items when you are not shooting. The camera in the lifestyle photo is not included.
The body is waxed canvas with tan leather trim and brass hardware. Waxed canvas sheds light rain and picks up creases and a lived-in look over time. The bag is not fully waterproof, so keep your camera out of heavy rain.
It comes in khaki, dark gray and sage green. All three share the same shape, trim and hardware. Shades can vary slightly from your screen.
Measurements can vary by about 1 inch from one bag to the next. The size suits a compact mirrorless camera with a lens attached, a spare lens or battery, a phone and a few small items. It also works as a small everyday bag for a mini tablet, a notebook, a water bottle or a rolled light layer, so it earns its place even on days without a camera.
Wear the adjustable shoulder strap across your body or over one shoulder. The brass swivel clips let you detach the strap and switch it to another bag. The flap closes with a buckle and magnetic snaps, so you can open it quickly for a shot without fumbling with a zipper.
