Description
The Fretboard is a padded leather guitar strap made of crazy horse cowhide, built for players who want comfort from the first rehearsal to the last encore. A wide, cushioned pad spreads the weight of the guitar across your shoulder, so long practice sessions, studio days and gigs stay easy on your neck. It fits acoustic guitars, electric guitars and bass guitars, and the rich brown finish looks right on stage, in the studio or in the living room.
The pad is about 0.47 inches (12 mm) thick, measured with a caliper, and uses a thickened air cushion layer under the leather. A stitched pattern on the underside holds the padding in place and keeps the strap from sliding on your shoulder, which matters when you move around on stage or stand through a long rehearsal. A row of adjustment holes at the end of the strap lets you set the guitar higher or lower on your body, so you can dial in the height that feels natural whether you play standing at a gig or seated at home. Once it is set, the strap holds the guitar steady.
The outer is genuine crazy horse cowhide with a worn-in look, finished with stitched edges, black piping and a metal shield badge. Each strap shows its own grain and marks, and the leather deepens in color the more you play. That character is part of the appeal of real leather, and it makes every strap a little different.
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from heat. If it gets wet, let it air dry naturally and do not soak the leather. Store it flat or loosely coiled between sessions.
